In a unanimous 8–0 vote, the Senate has officially reinstated the Nomad role, a long-requested change that clarifies player affiliation across the Republic while honoring the distinct identity of Cranck City.
Previously, all whitelisted players without a provincial home were automatically assigned the Cranck City role — regardless of whether they ever intended to settle there. This led to confusion both in governance and culture, as Cranck began to represent everyone and no one at once.
Rabbi’s proposal changes that:
- The Nomad role will now be assigned to whitelisted players who don’t belong to a province
- The Cranck City role will be reserved for those who explicitly choose to live there
Passed Without Objection
The motion passed 8–0, a rare show of full Senate unity. Senators from Pale Heart, Valmiris, New Elrov, and Mercury all voted in favor. There were no abstentions or delays — a swift, clean approval.
